Safety
- Skydiving is an adventure sport and has inherent risks. Our company operates to a high industry standard to manage these risks and keep them to an acceptable level
- All Clients will be required to sign a waiver indemnifying our company.
- All clients skydive at their own risk.
Compulsory Personal Accident Insurance
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority now requires all parachutists to have ‘Sport Personal Accident Insurance’. This is not included in the jump prices and is payable to the Australian Parachute Federation via our club office on the day of jump. It is $15 and provides you with $75,000 cover in the unlikely event of injury. A product schedule is attached to your booking confirmation.
Fuel Levy
- We reserve the right to charge a fuel levy on the day of the booking. This will apply only in rare situations where fuel prices suddenly increase significantly.
- Clients will be notified if a Levy is applicable with as much prior notice as possible to the date of booking.
- Clients do have the right to postpone their skydive to a future date, where it could be hoped that the fuel price has recovered and a Levi is not required to be charged.
- The Levy is calculated by multiplying the fuel increase $ amount x 25 liters (the average fuel usage per passenger). For example, if fuel suddenly increases by $1 per liter, the Levi would be $25 per client, payable on the day.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
- The deposit of $300 is strictly non-refundable.
- If you need to change your booking date, we require at least 48 hours notice, however we would appreciate as much notice as possible. Loss of deposit will result for rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice.
- Not attending your scheduled time will result in loss of deposit.
- This is a half-day activity. Due to the nature of skydiving, delays and changing booking times are often required. Be aware that planning to complete your jump on time can often disappoint. We can often experience delays due to weather or air traffic. As a result, it will be considered a last minute cancellation if you have not allowed half the day to complete the jump, and deposits will be forfeited. (We put your safety first at Coastal Skydive).
- Upon booking, the customer engages the services of Coastal Skydive to provide skydiving on the booked date if weather conditions (or other factors*) are appropriate, or another date if weather conditions (or other factors*) are not appropriate. If the weather conditions (or other factors*) are not appropriate, rendering skydiving unsafe, the deposit will be transferred to a date agreed upon between Coastal Skydive and the Customer.
- If the customer is unable to make themselves available for rescheduling, the deposit is not refundable. The client understands that in making an attempt to provide skydiving on the booked date, Coastal Skydive has provided part of the service.
- Rescheduling due to weather or other factors: we allow 30 days for you to make a new booking. The new booking can be up to 12 months from the last booking date. Failing to rescheduled before the 30 day period we will require payment of any price increases that may have occurred. Bookings not made within 3 years from original date of purchase will expire.
- Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions will be assumed unless we hear otherwise from the customer within 48 hours of the booking confirmation email being received.
- Exemption from these Terms and Conditions (part or in full) is at the discretion of Coastal Skydive and must be agreed upon at time of booking or within 48 hours of the booking being made.
- If the client lives outside of South Australia and is travelling to SA to complete a skydive, and weather prevents the skydive from taking place, a refund will be available less a processing fee ($100)
- *Other factors may include but not limited too: In rare circumstances, equipment such as aircraft require unscheduled maintenance, which in rare occasion, can affect our ability to skydive; Our staff have rare and unique skills. An unfit staff member at short notice can affect our ability to provide our service; Skydiving is also subject to air traffic availability which can change at short notice on occasion.
Mid Week Bookings
- Mid-week bookings available at Semaphore only.
- A minimum of 2 people is required for us to operate. This can be a combination of separate parties booking.
- Please contact us on 7444 4218 if you have a special request.
Special Offers
- From time to time we make special offers with special conditions. The conditions stated on the offer over rides our normal T’s and C’s.
Discount Cards
If you have a Coastal Skydive Discount Card:
- Can be used on any 15,000 feet jump at any location.
- Can be used on multiple skydives booked
- Can’t be used with any other discount.
- Need to phone or email us to use this.
- Must be applied at time of booking ie: Cannot be used on previously booked jumps.
Gift Vouchers
- Gift Vouchers are fully refundable within the first 14 days from the date of purchase.
- Beyond 14 days, Gift Vouchers are non-refundable, however they are transferable to another person who is not already booked to jump with us.
- Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years.
- Gift Vouchers, if not used within first 12 months of purchase, become a monetary voucher for the amount of original purchase. They can be used on any product. No part of the voucher is redeemable for a monetary refund.
- Once a voucher is booked, the booking is subject to our ‘Bookings, Cancellations and Rescheduling’ Terms and Conditions.
- Upon booking, please advise us of your unique voucher number (WV-XXXX).
- If you need to change a booking, 48 hours notice is required. Loss of deposit will result for rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice.
- Not showing up on the day, your voucher will be void. Sorry, we will show up for you.
Refund Policy
- Gift Vouchers are fully refundable within the first 14 days from the date of purchase.
- Beyond 14 days, Gift Vouchers are fully non-refundable, however are transferable to another person who is not already booked with us.
- Booking deposits are non-refundable, however are transferable to another person who is not already booked with us.
Video and Photos
- At Coastal Skydive, every effort is made to ensure your experience is recorded and presented to you at the highest standard possible.
- Be aware that due to the extreme nature of Skydiving, equipment malfunctions and human error may occur.
In the unlikely event of a faulty Video, a full refund of the cost of the Video /Photo package will be provided. Or you will jump for free again so you leave happy!
- We reserve the right to use Video and Photos of clients from time to time for marketing purposes. If you do not want this to happen, please notify us in writing/email.
- As a free service, we upload pictures of all clients to our Facebook page at the end of the session. We also upload clients purchased Video to our YouTube channel. If you would like to be excluded from this service, please notify us in writing.
Additional Weight Fees
- We operate and pay Instructors in line with industry standards and therefore are required to charge additional weight fees for clients over 90 kg.
- All clients will be weighed discretely prior to jump.
- Fees are as follows: $25 for 90-94kg; $45 for 95-99kg; $70 for 100+kg. Please let us know if over 100kgs.
Fees can be paid on the day or upon booking.
Fitness Requirements
- Most people of reasonable fitness and health can go skydiving.
- In the interest of safety, we reserve the right to decline any participant from the activity if health is of a concern.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding any health issues which may render it unsafe for you to perform a parachute jump. We can work around certain issues if we know about them.
- A letter from your doctor may be required if you disclose to us a medical condition you have.
- Due to equipment limitations a maximum weight limit of 115 kg applies.
- People over the age of 75 require a letter from their doctor stating their fitness.
Pricing Policy
Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
We price match our competitors. If you find or are quoted a cheaper price for a similar product, please contact us and we will investigate and match that price.
